At Creative Image, we’re proud of our cosmeceutical offerings. These are basically medical-grade products that have a higher percentage of active ingredients than lines you can buy at the neighborhood Rite Aid.

What makes them different?

Cosmeceuticals are cosmetic products that have pharmaceutical-type benefits. Cosmeceutical lines contain bioactive ingredients including vitamins, growth factors, enzymes, antioxidants, ceramides, minerals, herbs, and essential oils.

Rather than simply acting as balms or moisturizers, these products improve the structure of the skin when possible. These prescription-only skin care products go beyond simple maintenance; they improve the function of the skin, encourage collagen production, and make the skin healthier overall. For instance, when vitamin C is added to a lotion or cream the addition of its antioxidant properties makes the product a cosmeceutical.
